Lets face it the standard earbuds that come with Zune are not of very high quality, however, that’s easily rectifiable. All you have to do is place a toll free call to 1-877-GET-ZUNE, the only information they should need is the serial number for your device, along with your name and address.

I know some people who have been asked to send them they’re old pair (Microsoft sends you a prepaid package to return them in) but when I called the number two weeks ago all they asked me for was just as I suggested, name, address and the serial number (hey, it feels like I’m in the ARMY), anyway, in either case, you can’t beat the price of free even if you have to send them your old pair.

It was just that simple and within a week I had my new “Premium” set of earbuds, and, it didn’t cost me a dime, pretty cool huh? So, once again simply call 1-877-GET-ZUNE and I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to get hooked up with a free pair of these.
